Your tour begins with a transfer from Venice or Ljubljana to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day free to rest, explore or begin exploring on your own. This evening, meet your fellow travelers for an orientation meeting including a welcome drink. Night in Ljubljana.

Ljubljana is one of Europe’s most charming, exciting, and greenest cities. The capital of Slovenia offers a wealth of sights from neolithic remains to castles and museums. Enjoy a sightseeing tour with a local guide and see the city in all its beauty. In the afternoon, take a cable car to Ljubljana castle and enjoy wine tasting of some excellent Slovenian wines with an amazing view of Ljubljana. Night in Ljubljana.

Discover the unique beauty of the Slovenian Karst region, known for its limestone rock formations. Begin with a visit to Postojna Cave and see stalactites and stalagmites that are millions of years old! Then head to a nearby wine grower’s cellar for a tasting of Teran, a native Slovenian white wine, and prosciutto, made from local pigs. Finally, visit Piran on the Adriatic Coast, where you can enjoy a walk along the seaside promenade or an afternoon at one of the many beach bars. Night in Piran.

Bring your camera to Piran, Slovenia’s charming coastal town. You’ll see a beautiful 18th-century church, colorful houses on the seafront, and a delightful square with stunning views. Continue to Portoroz for some free time. In the afternoon, we head for Goriška Brda, a pretty wine region. Discover the village of Dobovo and have dinner at a local farmhouse. Overnight in Nova Gorica.

Follow in the footsteps of Ernest Hemingway, as you drive along the emerald-green Soca River and through Kobarid. Stop to visit the WWI museum. Drive further through stunning landscapes as you make your way to Bled. Before arriving at Bled, stop at the Boka waterfall viewpoint. Night in Bled.

Today, you’ll join your guide for a sightseeing tour of this charming spa town on the shores of Lake Bled. You’ll also visit the imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff above the lake. We will return to the lake shore and taste the famous Bled cream cake. Afterward, we’ll take an easy drive to Bohinj Lake, where you can take a relaxing walk along its scenic shoreline before taking a cable car up to Mt. Vogel for stunning views over the Julian Alps. Enjoy some local cheese tasting. Tonight enjoy dinner at a local restaurant as you celebrate this wonderful time together in Slovenia!
