After breakfast, you'll head to Cetinje, the former royal capital of Montenegro. Cetinje is a charming town with a rich history and culture. You'll visit the National Museum of Montenegro, King Nikola's Palace, and the Cetinje Monastery, home to some of Montenegro's most important religious relics.
From Cetinje, you'll continue to Lovcen National Park, one of Montenegro's most beautiful national parks. Lovcen National Park is home to Lovcen Mountain, the highest peak in the coastal region of Montenegro. You'll stop at the Mausoleum of Njegos, which is located on the highest peak of Lovcen Mountain. The Mausoleum is a beautiful monument to Petar II Petrovic Njegos, the former prince-bishop and poet considered modern Montenegro's father. You'll enjoy stunning views of the mountains, valleys, and coastline from the Mausoleum. After you visit Lovcen National Park, you'll head to the village of Njegusi, which is known for its delicious prosciutto and cheese. You'll have the opportunity to try some of these local delicacies before returning to your hotel in Budva.
