Upon your arrival in the vibrant city of Ljubljana, you'll meet your guide for an informative session. Spend your free time exploring the city's lively atmosphere and indulging in exquisite local cuisine and wine along the Ljubljanica River. We recommend arriving a day earlier to appreciate the city's historic landmarks and impressive architecture fully. Your Slovenian adventure begins here, with an overnight stay in Ljubljana.

Journey north to the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and the enchanting alpine pasture of Velika Planina. Immerse yourself in the charm of Europe's oldest active shepherd's settlement, learning about their unique culture and admiring the distinct alpine architecture. Enjoy a traditional lunch before returning to Ljubljana for a leisurely evening and another night's stay.

Drive to the Julian Alps' foothills to visit Slovenia's renowned lakes, Bled and Bohinj. Wander through quaint villages, follow crystal-clear streams, and soak in the breathtaking mountain scenery at Lake Bohinj, where a refreshing swim awaits. After lunch, enjoy a scenic walk to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking Lake Bled, its iconic island, and medieval castle. Alternatively, unwind by the lake and swim in its fresh waters. The day ends with an overnight stay in either Bled or Bohinj.

Prepare for a challenging yet rewarding day of hiking in Triglav National Park. Traverse through the enchanting forest on the Pokljuka Plateau, ascend to nearly 2000 meters for stunning views of the glacial valley and Mt. Triglav, and enjoy a hearty lunch in a typical Slovenian mountain hut. Return to your accommodation in Bled or Bohinj for some well-deserved rest.

Engage in a series of short walks, discovering the diversity of Slovenia's landscapes. Visit the spectacular Pericnik Waterfall, hike through the heart of the Julian Alps, and enjoy a delicious lunch at a mountain hut on the Vrsic Pass. End your day with a refreshing swim in the Soca River and an overnight stay in Bovec.

Top of the Vrsic Mountain Pass in Autumn

Uncover the natural wonders and historical significance of the Soca Valley, indulging in local culinary delights for lunch. Embrace the opportunity for adventure with activities like rafting, canyoning, or zip-lining, or opt for a serene walk along the emerald waters of the Soca River. Your day concludes with another night in Bovec.

Discover the karst landscapes and the Slovenian Adriatic Coast. Explore the underground wonders of the Skocjan Caves, indulge in wine tasting and local cuisine in the karst vineyards, and wander through the narrow streets of Piran. Enjoy your last night in Slovenia with an overnight stay in Piran.
